5 Travel Tips you need to Know for your Next Adventure

Are you jetting off on an adventure soon or seriously considering it? Then you’ve come to the right place because we’re obsessed with all thing travel related, and are always finding ways to improve our travelling experiences.

Here’s 5 of our latest top travel tips that you need to know about before the off.

1. Keep all your documents safe and at hand

A bit of a boring one to start with, but it is important and it’s something we all tend to forget. Get a folder to keep all of your documentation and identification in, including your passports, visa requirements, health insurance docs etc. Some countries even require things like itineraries of what you’re doing in the country, so it’s an idea to be prepared with things like that to make life easier at the border.

2. There are lots of different ways you can get from A to B

If you’re planning on getting around a lot in a country, or going from one country to the next etc, then you’ve no doubt looked into options like interrailing. However, there are a lot of other ways in which you can get from A to B, and the one from ps://www.blacklane.com/en is a great example of a better one. They’re a car/driver hire service across the world which allows you to rent a car for an allocated time slot, so you can travel in comfort ‘til your heart’s content.

3. Shop around for the best travel insurance

Travel insurance can be really pricey, so it’s a good idea to shop around as much as possible before you go to get the best deal. There are even price comparison sites out there now to make this even easier. Good travel insurance is so vital – especially if you’re intending on doing things like extreme sports while you’re away.

4. Great accommodation doesn’t have to cost the earth

After a few Google searches, you’ll soon realise that accommodation is one of the priciest aspects of travelling. However, with more and more options out there these days that are making cheap accommodation both safe and appealing, it doesn’t have to cost you the earth anymore. Check out things like couch surfing for a really cheap and unusual travel experience, or Air BnB for another.

5. Why not try some off-the-beaten track destinations?

We’ve all heard how amazing the likes of Australia, Thailand and Amsterdam are…(just to name a few of the places that seem to pop up everywhere at the moment!) but you could find somewhere just as (if not more) amazing if you do a little research. Heading to somewhere unique and different is a great experience that won’t have been had by millions and millions of others every year, and it can leave you very surprised.
